Four days after his contract with Arsenal expired at the end of June, 32-year-old Partey was charged.
The midfielder, who is currently with Villarreal of Spain, travelled back to England this week for his team’s Champions League matchup against Tottenham Hotspur, where he was used as a substitute in a 1-0 loss.
Partey formally entered his pleas at the court after confirming his identity. He was given bail pending his trial, which is set to start at Southwark Crown Court on November 2 of the following year.
Partey is allowed to continue playing football under the terms of his bail, but he is not allowed to contact the complainants and must notify the police 24 hours in advance of any overseas travel.
