On October 1, 2025, Daniel Boamah-Duku, a close friend of Aidoo and a former assistant headmaster at the institution, expressed his shock at Aidoo’s behaviour in an interview with Yerepa TV.

Aidoo’s relationship with the student, who is affectionately known as “Stonebwoy,” surprised Boamah-Duku, who asserted that the young woman is notorious on campus for her bad behaviour.

The youngster had previously been disciplined and dismissed from the school’s residential facility for misbehaviour, according to Boamah-Duku. Additionally, he claimed that she currently attends the institution as a day student and utilises drugs, particularly marijuana.

“No one, regardless of their position, should exploit students. The law prohibits mistreatment of children, and even if a student approaches you, engaging with them is unacceptable. We need divine intervention in this situation,” Boamah-Duku said. He expressed his disbelief that Aidoo would associate with the student given her past disciplinary issues.

The Ghana Education Service announced Aidoo’s immediate suspension in a statement released on September 29, 2025, preventing him from entering school property until enquiries are conducted. The GES emphasised that the decision was made to safeguard pupils and maintain the safety and reputation of the educational environment.

“The Ghana Education Service is committed to maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, discipline, and child protection in all educational institutions. We condemn any conduct that threatens the safety, dignity, or well-being of students,” the statement read.

In compliance with existing regulations, the Service promised the public that it would conduct a comprehensive investigation and implement suitable disciplinary actions. It reaffirmed its unwavering opposition to any kind of misbehaviour in the teaching profession.
