After an autopsy, the family of the late Ghanaian TikToker Elvis Frimpong, also known as Osanju, has disclosed the official cause of death.

The cause of death for the 30-year-old content developer, who died on September 1, 2025, was determined to be leukaemia, or blood cancer.

Previous reports state that Osanju became quite unwell at home and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was put on oxygen before being sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in an ambulance.

Regretfully, he was declared deceased not long after arriving.

Prior to a post-mortem investigation, the precise cause of death was unknown.

The late TikToker’s uncle and head of the family revealed in a video posted on Sabina Safo’s TikTok profile that leukaemia was the cause of death according to the autopsy report.

“The doctor conducted the post-mortem and told us that he died from the illness he had been battling for the past few years, which is blood cancer, or leukaemia,” he explained.

He also shared information from the physician regarding Osanju’s last moments.

“The doctor told us that after taking his medicine, he was supposed to vomit some blood. But he did not, so that appeared to have affected his chances of recovery,” he added.
