It’s my baby-making phase, so I’ll get married again, but at my own leisure, said MzGee.

Media personality and broadcaster MzGee has shared details about her personal life, saying that although she still believes in marriage, she doesn’t want to be pressured into getting married.

During her appearance on Gee O’Clock, she said: I will marry again but at my own pace. Please give me peace. This is my baby-making era and I chose to give myself that gift.

Her remarks come after she disclosed on February 27, 2025, that she had been legally divorced for two years and separated for three.

MzGee revealed that following the dissolution of her marriage, she faced ongoing scrutiny and social pressure on when she would get married again or start a family.

It felt like the world was waiting for me to expire. At 38, nobody had come. At 39, nobody came. At 40, still no one. And yet the pressure never stopped

In January of this year, MzGee welcomed a son, determined to take back her own narrative. She said that the choice was one of thankfulness and faith rather than disobedience.

“Yes, God is against fornication, we know that,” she admitted. “But I also know that God is merciful. He gave me my son, and I will thank Him every day of my life.”

MzGee maintains that her journey is about freedom, choice, and finding joy on her own terms, while being a mother and a woman who still believes in love.
