Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has been awarded a scholarship to study for an LL.M. in the United States.
The University of Connecticut (UCONN) in the United States of America has granted scholarship to Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, a firebrand and hard-hitting journalist, to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.
Under the current academic exchange program between GIMPA and UCONN, Afrifa-Mensah, a law student at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), was chosen as one of the top-scoring students.

The one-year LL.M. program gives graduates the chance to take the U.S. Bar Examinations and offers additional legal training. In the United States, successful applicants may later be admitted to the bar.
Afrifa-Mensah intimated that production on the For The Records show would soon restart from his studios in the United States.
