Popular Ghanaian TikToker Osanju died shortly after watching his favorit club team Barcelona drew, he recently opens up on battling leikemia.

The social media celebrity had 72,000 Instagram followers and more than a million TikTok followers. Although Osanju frequently disclosed his blood cancer on the internet during his career, he was mostly recognised for his comedic content.

On Monday, September 1, Ama Yeboah, his buddy and frequent collaborator, shared an older video of the two of them to commemorate Osanju’s untimely demise and confirm the news.
“I don’t know what to say because you left us all shocked,” Yeboah wrote on Instagram. “Your memory will forever be a guiding light, and though the pain of losing you is heavy, the love you left behind will always remain.”
In the summer of 2023, Osanju—who also went by the aliases Mr. Sanjus and Frimpong Osanju Elvis—began disclosing that he had been diagnosed with leukaemia. He posted several videos explaining the disease’s symptoms and how it affected him.
Although he thanked his followers for their donations and support, he acknowledged in one video that the financial demands of therapy had had a big impact on his life.
Osanju uploaded many videos reacting to the football match between Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano, which ended in a draw, just hours before his death was officially verified. In a video released on August 31, Osanji, a fervent supporter of Barcelona’s squad, was animated as he voiced his “great disappointment” following the match.
After learning of the unfortunate news, fans expressed their amazement and sadness in the comments section of his most recent videos, particularly considering his recent online engagement.
“How can you post 11 hours ago and then disappear like that,” one mourning viewer wrote, adding a crying emoji and a broken heart. Another person added, “Rest well big man. We love you.”
