Fixing ourselves first will lead to fixing our nation. Prince David Osei of Ghana

According to Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei, rejecting “hate, greed, selfishness, nonchalant attitude, and tribalism” is a surefire way to improve Ghana.

The actor from “Nana Means King,” who actively supported Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party during the 2020 general elections, has spoken out against the current “Fix the Country” demonstration and, predictably, is in favour of the party he ran for.

He believes that Ghanaians should take care of themselves before trying to restore the nation.

Taking to social media, he wrote: “Ghana will be better and well-fixed if we the citizenry fix ourselves first… Say no to Hate, Greed, Selfishness, Nonchalant Attitude, Tribalism. We move!!  #fixyourself and then Ghana will be fixed for all to enjoy!! #wemove… Is it not the same human beings that works in government and a place of power? Are they not citizens of Ghana?? From the church to the flagstaff house is all corrupt!!! So, let’s fix ourselves first, that will translate to fixing our country Ghana!!! Amen.”

More than 48 hours have passed since Ghanaians took over Twitter with the “Fix the Country” protest to call attention to the nation’s problems.

John Dumelo, Efia Odo, Yvonne Nelson, and Lydia Forson are among the celebrities who have attended the demonstration to draw attention to some of the urgent needs of Ghanaians.
