Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, also referred to as Baba Mohbad, has paid special tribute to his late son as the second anniversary of his passing draws near on September 12, 2025.
To honour his son’s memory, Baba Mohbad recently published a tribute song and music video. He discussed the unfairness of Mohbad’s death in the video, emphasising that justice has not yet been done.

Men and women wearing white clothing were also included in the images, which helped to express the project’s emotional theme.
Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27. Two years later, the true circumstances behind his untimely death remain unresolved, despite ongoing efforts by activists such as VDM to uncover the truth.
